  Since we are pretty much speechless - except to point out that  STUPIFIED, HATE-WHIPPED AMERICANS NOW WORSHIP MAMMON, and it will be mere months before we start attending the torture sessions of SLAVES TIED, half naked, to POLES  WHILE THEY ARE WHIPPED & BEATEN (as was the practice in this same part of Florida a hundred+ years ago during the slavery era)   - we will post LibertyBlitzkreig blog's  comment:

As much as any event in recent years that epitomizes America’s descent into a decrepit gulag state in which doing the right thing and building a healthy and productive culture takes a back seat to money and profits at all costs, plastering the name of a for-profit prison company on a new football stadium passes the test.  I guess for a country that has 5% of the world’s population yet 25% of the world’s prisoners, and that provides favorable tax breaks for private prisons, this is just the natural progression of things.  Hey, at least the stock market is up!  Move over religion, equities are the new opiate of the masses.

  evil, insanely corrupt and anti-human PUBLIC UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATORS at FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY  can't keep their sugar-plum dreams - of what they will do with $5 million from a PRISON COMPANY - out of their dreams at night.  What's scary, is every year they graduate a thousand (?) students, who probably have a similar LACK OF MORAL COMPASS....

 Florida Atlantic University’s decision to accept a nearly $6 million sponsorship from a private prison system operator for FAU’s football stadium naming rights has, not surprisingly, been met with resistance and now, a petition.

The controversial GEO Group, based in Boca Raton, Fla. with facilities throughout the world, also operates an immigration detention center in nearby Pompano Beach, Fla. On Tuesday, a petition was started by Dream Activist with the intent of having the GEO Group’s name removed from FAU's stadium, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

FAU play-by-play announcer Ken LaVicka is floating the nickname, ‘Owlcatraz,’ although he is not involved with the petition.
